Yurnal provides a digital notary journal platform that allows notaries to create, store, and manage journal entries with attached documents. Our Service includes:
- Secure journal entry creation and storage
- Document attachment and management
- Audit logging and tracking
- User authentication and account management
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of Yurnal, you agree to:
- Only create entries for legitimate notarial acts
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not transmit any viruses or malicious code
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Journal Entry Storage and Retention
Journal entries and documents stored in Yurnal are maintained securely and automatically deleted based on your plan's retention policy:
- Free Plan: Entries deleted after 30 days
- Pro Plan: Entries deleted after 1 year
- Enterprise: Custom retention policies
5. Security and Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit
- SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure
- Full audit trails for all journal entry access
- Regular security assessments
6. Limitation of Liability
Yurnal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, all your journal entries will be permanently deleted.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
